Hollard Garden & Dawson’s Falls, Taranaki, NZ
March 22, 2013 in New Zealand, Oceania
Today, we hiked:
Through the very beautiful gardens of Bernie and Rose Hollard who gifted their lifetime legacy to the state for the enjoyment of others. And down a wild path on the side of Mt. Egmont to see the crashing Dawson’s Falls. They must be spectacular when it’s not a drought, because we thought they were very beautiful during one!
We took some pictures. I realized when assembling this that there are no children in any of them. This is because the children spent a good portion of the time we were in the gardens spinning themselves on a tire swing until Hannah threatened to vomit. So we walked without them.
