Portraits from the Camino de Santiago
June 6, 2014 in Europe, Spain, Travelogue
We’ve been walking for a week.
Our days are full and finding time to write has been a challenge. Words don’t do the stories justice, really. They never do. Instead, I thought I’d celebrate the end of our first week on the trail by introducing you to a fw of our new friends and walking companions:

Jade, St. Jean Pied-de-Port

Pierre Paolo, Huntto

Anna in the Pyrenees

Brazilian flower boy

With Israel, my Guatamalan-Canadian Spanish teacher

Colorado

Texas

Shadows of ourselves

Australia

Strangers

Ireland

Florida

Horse pilgrim

Jade & Germany

Oklahoma
Just curious about one of the pictures….(“Strangers”)….I noticed the chain link fence behind the guy has a lot of crosses on it – is there a story about why?
Thanks for sharing. Love seeing this!
Quite an assortment of friends to walk with and share your stories. Another great adventure!
