Moving out

March 24, 2008 in North America, Travelogue, United States

Just a quick entry this morning. Over the last week we’ve been working like crazy to get the house emptied out, getting everything packed up and moved to friends’ houses and into a storage unit. It’s been a ton of work, but we’ve managed to get it done, only through the help of so many wonderful friends. Of all things we’ll miss while gone, they are the top of the list. The sense of community that we have had while living here has been so tremendous – more so than any place we’ve ever lived. And that after hearing what hard, cold people New Englanders are. I’ve definitely not found that to be true as someone living in the area. Perhaps they will not be bothered by outsiders, but the experience has definitely been different for us. So, for those of you with whom we’ve lived these past 6 years in New Hampshire, thank you so much for everything. We will see you again soon. Today we step away from our house and move into the camper. We pray that all will go well with the camper, and the van, trailer, and motorcycle going to Indiana as well, and that we will be able to make good mileage without compromising safety, and that we will find warm nights on the way to Indiana.
I will try to update from the road as possible.
Cheers,
Tony
